Like "Marriage, Disease, Divorce," this is a CD-length narrative set to music.
Jonas--longtime bandmate to Cecil Taylor, Anthony Braxton, Fred Ho, William Parker and others, as well as a composer/bandleader in his own right--played this music and read this text of mine with me.
What I like about this is that it sounds 90% improvised and 10% composed, but in fact it's closer to the reverse.
